10/07/20 Update: to the 09/10/19, 07/18/19 - Pearblossom Emergency Aid & Response (PEAR) - Donations and Interested Parties Needed
In our area and those surrounding us, it isn't a matter of if, but when, a major disaster will hit our community. Whether it is a fire or an earthquake, or something unforeseen. When this disaster occurs, it could be 72 hours or possibly up to 21 days for Emergency Response Personnel to get to our area due to the density of population in local cities. During that time, it will be neighbors assisting neighbors. We will have to work together as a community.
The PRTC is currently working on:
-
The PRTC is seeking to raise $500.00 for the delivery of a previously donated shipping container for the Pearblossom Emergency Aid and Response (P.E.A.R.) for the community. The container will be utilized to house the P.E.A.R. supplies for Pearblossom (including but not limited to generators, water pumps, etc.).
-
CERT - forming a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program for our town. We are seeking individuals who are willing to become part of CERT and the PEAR team. To have these classes we need a minimum of 20, to a max of 50 volunteers (Note: persons under 18 are allowed with parental consent/advisement). Additionally you do not need to be a resident of Pearblossom to be part of the program. There are CERT teams all over the country, and your certification would be recognized nationwide.
If you are interested in participating in PEAR/CERT, please contact us. When responding via email, please add "CERT" in the subject line.
-
Volunteer Emergency & Disaster Preparedness, Communication & Relief - becoming part of a collaborative effect to be part of an emergency solution rather than a problem in our community and surrounding areas. Please stay tuned; however, for more information/examples please refer to the below documents:
1. A Taste of Preparedness -

OFFICAL BOBCAT FIRE DISTRIBUTION CENTERS
Disaster Relief Assistance
Littlerock Town Council and Pearblossom Town Council would like to announce the official command distribution centers for the North Side of the #BobcatFire. We have revised the coordinated two (2) location sites to help better assist our community during this time. The two (2) locations are available for both drop off and pick up.
As of now, we have listed the days and times for the week of 9/21-9/27. On Sunday we will post the times and days for the following week and each Sunday after for that following week.
❌ Please remember to wear a face mask at all times and staying 6 feet apart to allow for social distancing.
Attached below is a list of items we are in need of now. Basic every day needs. More items will be listed weekly as we gather more information for everyone.
At this time, we are not accepting large items such as furniture, appliance, along with household items as in pots and pans. Once evacuation orders have been lifted and our families are temporarily relocated safely, we will announce a plan for large items.
We would like to thank everyone for coming together and lending a helping hand to each other. The love our communities have shown thus far is remarkable. Let’s keep the love going. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with specific needs. We are here to help!!
